Essentials for travel

You are looking at a girl that is hard to lose. Our family recently visited Disneyland while we visited family in Southern California. Our daughter Ashlyn was well equipped for the day. On her right arm she had a KinderKord, a retractable cord attachment that could connect to the one on my wrist, giving her freedom with limits as she walked by my side. I loved that they are so compact on our wrists and easily attachable and detachable. When we got on a ride we simply detached and the cords retracted within the armbands. Afterward it took only seconds to reconnect. All four of use had one on so at anytime any of us could connect to each other (although come to think of it Trent and I never did:). On her feet Ashlyn wore her “pretty pink princess shoes” by Wee Squeak. The removable squeakers kept us alerted to her location at all times. On her left arm she had a SafetyTat tattoo with my cell phone written on it in the event that she wandered off when not connected to me with the KinderKord. Her brother was equally equipped minus the squeaker shoes. We got a good amount of attention too. I had a mom buying one of my extra SafetyTats on the tram into the park and I can’t tell you how many people commented on Ashlyn’s shoes! It was almost as though we were celebrities the way that people would turn and watch us with smiles and comments as we passed. The funniest part? Hearing teenage boys comment on how “tight” her shoes were and all the adults saying they wished they could have a pair for themselves LOL. So if you have any upcoming trips coming up I would really suggest that you consider one or more of these items for your travels, they really worked great for us!
