Happy Thanksgiving
By Heather Ledeboer | Category: Kids Crafts, The Journey of Motherhood
We have had some unusually cold weather here in Northern Idaho. The single digit numbers have been playing around with each other and even dipping below the zero mark here and there. We have to be selective about our time spent outside–better make it count! Today, a sled ride behind the 4-wheeler (if you look close you will see our dog riding on the back behind my husband!) was justification for the cold.
Afterward, the kids came in and filled up on some hot cocoa and then dove into a Thanksgiving craft that I found in the November issue of Disney Family Fun magazine (page 77). The Fingerprint Place Cards were both fun and easy. Simply cut a piece of paper (white or yellow works best) into the shape of a corn cob and let your kids finger paint the kernels on. After they dry, glue on two hush shapes (green or yellow) and indicate the name of the guest. Your family will enjoy seeing their names on display in such a cute way when it is time to enjoy your Thanksgiving meal! For more fun crafts, visit the Family Fun website.
Happy Thanksgiving!
“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him” (Colossians 3:17).

I saw those same place cards in the magazine at the doctor’s office and thought they were SO cute! Good job!
