This sounds silly, but the dr’s. office. I have a 2 month old (B) and 18 month old (K). K HATES to sit still, even when terribly sick. B is in the car seat. I’m afraid if I run after K, w/o the car seat, someone will snatch B…everyone there has kids…it would be so easy…
ugh and we have to go this morning…
I would LOVE to win this giveaway!

I worry about them everywhere, especially since my 2yr old has become suddenly so independent. Ds isn’t walking yet, but is on the verge…then I will have two amazing, disappearing toddlers. LOL. It would be great to have this ‘tracking device.’
[Reply]
I am petrified that my 17 month old will run away in a crowded store. He enjoys scaring me…..gray hair, here I come!
[Reply]
Target, for sure! My three year old used to run off as soon as I would let her (after she had finished with all of the “bribes” I had to keep her quiet) out of the cart. Suddenly at 3 years she is now right beside me, helping me shop and find deals. The one I worry about is my 9 month old…if she is anything like her sister I am going to have another funner on my hands! This would come in so handy. The sunburst design is adorable!
[Reply]
My 2 year old wandered off at a county fair earlier this year-the first time it’s happened with any of my 3 kids. I need this for him!
[Reply]
Anywhere there are streets! My DD is SO independent. As soon as she started walking, she was running away! She won’t hold my hand. And she no longer appreciates being worn (unless she’s sick). And she hates sitting in her stroller. The only way I can keep her from throwing herself into traffic is by grabbing her up and holding on tight while she throws a tantrum because I won’t let her run out into traffic.
[Reply]
My 16 month old son is a monkey but tries so hard to be independant, this would be great!! So, yes, i would love to win this!!!!!
[Reply]
Definitely in stores. With two littles ones, I can’t even get both of them into the safety seat in the carts so one has to walk.
[Reply]
the parking lot is the scariest for me. my toddler son loves cars and likes to run and touch them and point to their wheels…which of course is not a good idea in a parking lot! we have a new baby on the way, so it will get even harder to keep up with him once she’s here!
[Reply]
Walmart! I’ve gotten seperated from my son twice at Walmart and it is sooooo scary!! I would love this product!
[Reply]
I wish I could put my 15 month old down to walk/run on sidewalks when we’re out an about, but he’s all over the place! It’d be nice to be able to keep him right beside me, safe from cars and without the ability to wonder off.
[Reply]
OHHHHHHH MY!!!!!!!!
If ever there was a give away for me, this is it!!!!! I am a stay at home mom of a very independent 20 month old and have a 3 month old too!!!! Getting out of the house is SOOOOOOO hard because my daughter wants to walk everywhere but, it is impossible to let her do that with the new baby. This product would be a GOD SENT for me and my family. I will keep my fingers crossed!!!!!!!!
[Reply]
Shopping mall or other crowded shopping area. My 18 month old loves to play the “running away from mom” game.

ANYWHERE & EVERYWHERE! Everyday I have the fear that one of my children will be lost, or snatched up by a stranger (or someone who wants them for themselves!). When I was younger, my best friend and I were almost lured in by a stranger. It is quite frightening! Fortunately I had enough street smarts to know we were not safe, and I was able to get myself and my best friend out of there and back home safely. The man was never found, and we lived in fear that he would re-appear one day. Shockingly enough, there were two more times this happened to us (diff. man) who was soon captured and put away. Needless to say, from my experience, I know anyone can easily lose a child –anywhere. It doesn’t matter where you live. Kidnapping does not discriminate. Now that I have two children of my own (boy 4 yrs & girl 5 mos) I shiver at the thought that something might happen to them every time they are out of my site! I know that with the Love Handle Child Walking Tether, when my little girl begins walking, it will give me the piece of mind knowing I have a tight hold on her!

The airport. When my first son was younger we flew a lot and he wanted to walk on his own everywhere. I felt bad when I had him on a “leash” and looked next to me to find a lady walking her dog on a leash. This product would make me feel much better about walking me child in public!
[Reply]
This would be great! She is on the go and this would be helpful!
[Reply]
I most fear losing my children in Walmart while shopping.
[Reply]
I fear loosing my dd while we are at places like the fair. So many people.

[Reply]
I fear losing him while were out running around town, and going in places that I cant fit our stroller into….This would be great to let him out and walk!!! And its SO cute!
[Reply]
WalMart! I am so petrified of loosing my boy at WalMart while I am shopping. I get teary eyed and a knot in my stomach every time they call that code “adam”.
[Reply]
I am not going to lie every.single.time I walk out the door my son starts running off like he is getting out of jail. So pretty much everywhere. The mall, starbucks, walmart, target, the grocery store. You name it.
[Reply]
I fear him running out when we leave fast-food restuarants – especially ones where the entrance is right by the drive-thru. People scream through there, and often it is just a few steps into the street.
[Reply]
Everywhere really, but in particular the mall! It’s too hard with a 4 month old and a toddler! My daughter takes total advantage of her brother taking up a lot of attention to go run and ‘hide’. We do have a ‘puppy’ harness that we used to use with her and have been subjected to lots of nasty stares- the best was when she got on all fours with it on and started going “woof” and licking our hands, in public of course!
[Reply]
Anywhere!!! But, especially somewhere crowded.
[Reply]
Anywhere there are people to get lost in. I am a security freak. My husband turns half his back on the boy in the cart and I can’t keep shopping till I know all is well.
I have one of those monkey harness things and he loves it. It is my friend. But I am loving the flowers. mmmm
[Reply]
This is such a wonderful product idea! I wandered off as a toddler at the Mall and my Mom was soooo scared. Now that I am a Mom, I often think about the torment she must have felt while I was gone those 15 minutes. This product is exactly what I need as my 10.5 month old daughter is soon to be walking. Thank you for putting this in the contest!
[Reply]
EVERYWHERE! Especially parks, amusement parks, malls, and stores. So basically anywhere that is not my house and where there are people.
[Reply]
What a great idea… and stylish too. I have two girls -ages 3 and 1. My oldest was the perfect child.. and so goes, my 1 year old is the troublemaker! I fear large crowds, parks etc.. (we have a Balloon Festival every year and this would have been perfect!) It is nice to give the kids freedom to run around, but still keeping a close eye (and leash on them!)
[Reply]
I worry aout losing my kids at large events such as festivals or the amusement park. There is so much ground to cover if they get seperated from us. I also worry about this wherever there is any moving traffic!
This item is so clever! I hate seeing kids that look like they are on leashes but this product takes away the negative looks because it is so stylish! I would love to win this item!
[Reply]
Probably in stores and especially when we leave the store and my daughter takes off, not watching for all the cars!
[Reply]
I’m terrified of losing by son wherever I am when I have one of those “mommy-brain” days. He’s fiesty and some days I’m so exhausted while running errands. This would product would provide much peace of mind on those days where mommy’s spent and the errands just can’t be avoided.
[Reply]
I am afraid of losing my 10 month old walking child anywhere! Guess it is new mom syndrome! By the time she is a year she will likely be running and quickly out of my sight!
[Reply]
The number one place would be my own backyard. I couldn’t imagine running in the house to answer the phone and returning a few seconds later and finding my child gone.
[Reply]
My biggest fear is having my 2 year old run off from me at a carnival or fair. She’s so independent now and doesn’t want to sit in a stroller, so this would be perfect! Thanks!
[Reply]
As my daughter is gaining more independence I fear of losing her in a crowded store! Sign me up to win this item!
[Reply]
OMG, pretty much anywhere! My 15 mo old daughter loves her freedom and seems to move at lightening speed. But, if I had to choose a specific place, I would say a mall or someplace like that where God knows who could snatch her up!
[Reply]
I’m afraid of my boys running off in Target and really, any store. Only my 3 yr old is walking (running) currently but he has a tendency to go around to the next aisle where I can’t see him and it really scares me. I know that kids can quickly get snatched up.
I love the Robin Stripe and the camo.
[Reply]
I am expecting my first so I wouldn’t need this for a while but I am terribly afraid of loosing him at our fair. I am scared to loose him anywhere but the fair is the worst. There are lots of strange people and lots of little kids running all over! Makes me very nervous.
[Reply]
i am very worried about my son in any crowded place, especially when i am shopping and when it is so hard to keep him right next to me and still make sure that i get everything on the list! i have a hard time. anytime i blink he is running away to explore. he is so brave and trusting and wanders off with anyone. it’s really scary! i love this product! i have been searching for something that is comfortable and safe. some of the harness types out there look like they put pressure on the lungs or ribs, this looks much better. My son is so independent, but this is like a shirt so i am sure he will wear it!! he needs a product like this to keep him safe.
[Reply]
My little angel – baby boy was born just 4 days ago and I know it is still very early but this would be a great little tool to have when going out and do not want to loose him..
Nice
[Reply]
I love my love handle tether. I use to have one that looked like a leash and I could hear under-their-breath comments from passers by about having my son on a leash like an animal. Now I have mama’s tracking me down on the street to ask where I got my tether. My son loves the freedom of being out of his stroller/carrier, and I love the confidence to go to places with large crowds like the Natural History Museum. Did I mention that the love handle tether is really stylish? Oh and the little pocket on the front is a great place for little guys to stash their latest treasures.
[Reply]
I just want to keep my kid from running into the street! So far my 17-month-old is OK with being in a carrier on my back or the stroller when we walk the dog, but I’ve been wanting a leash for her too so she can walk too. She should be able to explore/wiggle more, the stroller is HARD with a dog that pulls, and once I get pregnant again I won’t want to wear her as much, I’m sure.
[Reply]
Downtown…just last week my 2-year-old took off down an alley as I was dealing with my 6-month-old… She was hiding behind a parked car and scared me sooo bad. This is a great idea…and looks so funky!
[Reply]
I’m most afraid while shopping. My son who is 8 was very shy and never wandered away. I’ve got a 14 month old who will flirt with ANYONE!! I’m so afraid that she’s going to just walk off all the time! She loves to walk and be Miss Independent…I just can’t give up the control. I think this would give us both control!
[Reply]
I would be terrified to lose track of my son, Colin, at first monday trade days in Canton, TX. Those of you from texas know what I am talking about. We love going especially when the weather is nice but there are sooo many people there it would be super scary once he is walking.
[Reply]
Parks, busy streets, any body of water…oh the nightmare that it would be! This would be interesting to try.
[Reply]
Running in the street while walking with her Grandparents weighs on my mind! They can not run very fast after a small child and bending over to grab her is quite a strain. The Love Handle would be a great way for them to share precious time together…safely.
[Reply]
The car park!! I worry everytime I’m getting my 8mo out of the car that my 2yo will run off.
[Reply]
The street! I can move quick and keep up right now but he loves the curb for some reason and there will be that day when he gets even quicker.
[Reply]
I am glad to see a stylish, not so scary aid to help keep up with toddlers who want to go! Yea for the mom that developed this!
[Reply]
She’s not quite big enough to loose track of yet (thank goodness) but when she is I think this would be a great help and so pretty too! I love the music on the website!
[Reply]
She’s not quite big enough to get away yet (thank goodness) but what a great thing to have when she is bigger and stylish too!
[Reply]
My son is 13 months and is walking all over now. I’ve just started looking at these types of products & this one is great. I fear losing him in any crowded environment, not to mention if he would get away from me & be knocked down by someone.
[Reply]
The zoo! I have a little girl who just turned a year old and has been walking since she was 9 months. I take her to the zoo often and she loves to run around on her own. I am 7 months pregnant so it’s hard to carry her. This would be great to let her run around, but still keep her close!
[Reply]
I believe one of the most fearful places to lose my child would be at the botanical garden. We visit the garden many times throughout the year. The thought that the child can wonder off and there are wooded areas, ponds and miniature lake is a very scary one. These tethers are really adorable!
[Reply]
Parking lots are especially scary. Kids are so short and SUVs are so big, I’m petrified of someone backing into my daughter.
[Reply]
The airport!! We live overseas (military family!) and travel long hours to go home to visit family. The thought of losing a child in an international/foreign aiport scares me to pieces!
Love the idea of these classy and stylish toddler tethers – a great idea.
[Reply]
Church lobby, it’s always a juggling act getting both kids signed in without having to hold my heavy toddler in one arm(if I put her down she takes off) while keeping my 3 year from signing random kids in on the computer or trying to “fix” the printer.
[Reply]
I wasn’t much of a worrier in this area. Then I lost my 3 year old daughter in Legoland in So. California. Parent’s worst nightmare. Praise the Lord we found her quickly and safely.
[Reply]
Anywhere outside the home…
[Reply]
I fear losing her anywhere we go. I think she is going to start walking soon and I am so nervous! Somehow I don’t think she will want to ride in my sling anymore with her new found independence!
[Reply]
I have the fear of losing track of my children basically everywhere I go. I still try to always have them in a stroller whenever possible because that gives me a better sense of security. But a stroller is not always possible. Stores or shops where a stroller is not possible is a big stress for me. I would love to win one of these!!!
[Reply]
The mall. She’s at the age where she just wants to get down everywhere and its getting hard to go out without something like this.
[Reply]
At the state fair…It’s huge!
[Reply]
Sporting events. They get so crowded and people push/shove. My 3 year old seems to be swallowed up.
[Reply]
I can’t imagine losing my daughter anywhere!! She is not yet walking, but will be by next spring/summer and we would use it everywhere. Maybe the scariest place to lose her would be where there weren’t very many people around. I live in a small midwestern town and would trust that if she were lost in the crowd, someone would help her.
[Reply]
Anywhere! Especially where there are roads. I’ve never been a big stroller person and always carried or wore my daughter but now that she is 19 months she has no interest in being held and not being used to the stroller she isn’t happy there either. I try to let her walk as much as I can but she is off in an instant. So far she has only been “lost” for a couple seconds around a corner. *knock on wood*
[Reply]
These days, just about anywhere! It’s amazing how paranoid one can become when they have a child…or is this just a weird thing that happened to me?!?! I especially hate stores/mall because of all the people and hiding places.
On a happier note…I love all the fabrics that these come in. So fun!!
[Reply]
I don’t have a strong fear of losing my sweet NHV, but I do have a strong desire for her to develop a sense of independence. She’s been walking for about 3 months now, and I would love to give her the chance to walk (all by herself) down the sidewalks in our neighborhood and at local shopping centers. This product is exactly what I need
[Reply]
I would say some place like the Zoo or some sort of amusement park that’s busy and has a large crowd.
[Reply]
I’d say anywhere with open space for him to run! But one place that pops into mind immediately is the mall. Especially this time of year, when it is so packed! And we go at least 3 times a week with our mommie’s group to do mall walking, so this would definitely get some good use! Thank you for the opportunity to win something like this that I normally wouldn’t be able to afford!
[Reply]
I don’t like talking about fears, so I will say that I would love to give my toddler the freedom of taking a walk without having to hold my hand or having me practically walk on his heels.
I did consider purchasing one of the harness products on the market, but similar to what I read on your site, I wasn’t sure I wanted to be one of “those” moms. I’m glad to see with a few alterations in design, the same safety features can become more acceptable. Thanks!
[Reply]
Definitly the mall or the zoo. She’s at that age where she does NOT want to be in a stroller, but I’m too scared of losing her if I let her out. The ONLY time she’s allowed out of the stroller is if the mall or the zoo are empty and I’m assured I can keep an eye on her. This would keep BOTH of us happy!
[Reply]
Kudos to the mom who created this – brilliant – —
This would be perfect for any one of my three- tots – Random comment/prize selecter thingie
pick me pick me – it’s my turn – or in the words of my 2 year old “MINE” “IT’S MINE”

This invention is absolutely adorable, compared to the other ones that are sold at Babies R US and OneStepAhead.com. Once our lil’ active crawler learns how to walk, it will definitely be very practical for us; especially for my fiance who has vision impairment. Losing sight of our baby can happen in any crowded places. In addition, we cannot predict the next second/minute when our son decides to run across the street out of blue. Expect the unexpected.
[Reply]
I fear losing her anywhere…especially in crowded areas. This would really come in handy!!!
[Reply]
This would be great for taking walks down the street. My daughter gets distracted so quickly and she’s off. I can see using this often!
[Reply]
anywhere with large crowds like a carnival
[Reply]
The safety tatts are awesome. Someone bought us some this summer and we used them everywhere! We don’t have anymore, but just having one on my son made me feel better if he got lost. Thankfully, he didn’t.
[Reply]
My son runs everywhere and it would be great to have this so I don’t have to run so much after him…lol. I have bad knees and a bad back, so being able to let him be “free” and happy as opposed to stuck in his stroller would be nice. I want him to be able to explore, but I also want to be able to make sure he doesn’t wander off.
[Reply]
EVERYWHERE! My 4 year old has ADHD and when something catches her attention (usually when I turn away for a second) she’s gone. Yesterday it was a department store today it was at a National Park where they almost had to call the Park Rangers in. I’m glad I came across this product. We’ve tried the stuffed animal harness but my 4 yr. old and 2 yr old just few them as toys and they run as soon as they are put on. She has issues holding hands so I’m praying that this product will work for us. My child just doesn’t understand that what she’s doing is dangerous.

It’s good that we can take the home loans moreover, this opens new opportunities.
