A facelift (part 2)
By Heather Ledeboer | Category: Surprize Me!
Thank you so much for all of your feedback the first time around with this. I am glad you all liked the categories on the left, that made it easy to decide to keep those there. As mentioned before the circle with the photo of the mom and the quote will rotate to show 3-4 different moms and their quotes about why they love Mom 4 Life. I have three new options for you below. Please tell me:
-Which do you like best? If you like option 2 or 3 best, do you like that shade of pink on the sides?
-How well do you like that option? Better than our current layout?
-Do you have any other comments or suggestions for change?
Option 1: This one has a white background on the sides and a pink behind the featured products.

Option 2: This one has pink on the sides and pink behind the featured products.

Option 3: This one has pink on the sides and white behind the featured products.

I like option 1 out of the of the three. I think having pink just behind the featured products makes them jump out the most.
I do like the new one better then the one now, I think it looks more professional.

I like option 4 (lol)
I like the white behind the “showcase” products and I like the white background with the pink flowers.

Option 3 is easiest on the eyes. I like it best. The website *reads* smooth as it is not too busy. KWIM? And deffinately keep the categories on the left. I am so used to them that I could browse to the thing I am looking for with my eyes closed

#3 is fave

option 3 is the cleanest version:) Looks great!

I like number 3 I think the pink sides make everything in the middle stand out, I think the pink behind the “showcase” products is too much.

I like #3!

At first glance, I like Option 2 because it is easy on the eyes. I am not crazy about the fact that the two pinks (on the side and behind the featured products) are so close in shade. It gives me a similar feeling as having white and cream beside each other. Both the pinks are nice, but maybe a little tweak to differ the tones would help? I am not a designer at all, so take what I have to say with a grain of sugar.

three is nice

I like option 3 the best. For some reason the pink highlighting the featured products on the other two designs distracts from the products. It might even visually clash with some products.
The pink on the side designs looks professional. My second choice would be option 1 with no pink highlighting the featured products.

I like Option 2. Seems to stand out for me.

Surprising, I thought I’d like one better, but option 3 really is the best. I like the white behind the products. The pink is a little distracting. Also, I love it when you have additional links on products pages, like if you like this, check out: x, y, z.
Thanks Heather!
